ADOPT A PUPPY Before considering adoption please read the links page.  If you click on the animal's image it will open to their profile. Dogs are $215 each ($235 if delivered to Adelaide), which includes desexing, microchipping and vaccinations.  Exceptions are noted. We have changed the shelter's policy on placiing animals on hold.  Any animal may now be placed on hold, providing a 50% deposit is paid.  The animal will be held for one week, and if not collected, will once again be available for adoption (unless alternative arrangements are made). Please understand it is nearly impossible to give an accurate assessment in a shelter environment, and we encourage a 2 week trial period. ****** VOLUNTEER NOTES ARE A GUIDE ONLY ****** DESEXING OF PUPPIES: Sometimes puppies are desexed at 4 months of age, depending on their size.  If you purchase a puppy between the ages of 8 weeks and 4 months that hasn't been desexed you  will need to get the puppy desexed at our vet free of charge.  All ownership rights and paperwork for the puppy including microchip papers remains the property of the shelter until proof of desexing is supplied.  This is not negotiable.
