Introducing Nanook - a friendly and chillaxed 7 year old Siberian Husky. Nanook is a calm and low maintenance chap who enjoys his own company at times and thrives on companionship at other times.
Nanook is very dog social so he is in his element when he has canine companionship - he would love a home with another medium to large friendly pooch to play with. As with most of our arctics we recommend a home without cats or pocket pets and he'll require solid, husky proof fencing. He may suit a single person, a couple or a family with older kids who will spend time with him and include him in their daily lives.
Nanook can be a little aloof meeting new people at first - but once he knows you this unassuming boy loves a good chest rub. He likes to look very serious but then breaks out in an irresistible grin once he knows you. He is a loyal and loving boy who just needs to come to you in his own time at first.
Nanook enjoys treats and will cheekily nudge you or husky-chat to you if he thinks you are taking too long to hand out his treats. He takes them from your hand like a true gentleman. He enjoys a good back scratch on the grass so he'd love a medium sized yard with some lawn to roll around on. He's not a high energy boy so he doesn't have huge expectations in regards to exercise - a daily walk and being involved in family activities would keep this gorgeous boy smiling.
If you are looking for an unassuming, easy going companion for your family then sweet Nanook would love to be your new man.
Nanook has been vet checked and is in good health
