Cindy is a timid but extremely affectionate and friendly dog. She is house trained and currently is working on her obediance, including remaining on her bed when inside the house – she has taken to this very quickly! She gets along well with other dogs and loves to play, though she can be timid with them on first meeting she soon warms up. Unfortunately for her, her 2 older border collie foster-siblings don’t want to play with her (old snobs!), but they all get along really well and every opportunity she gets, she winds them up to play with her. Cindy does not play well with cats so a house without cats would be best for her.
She loves to meet new people, and never strays too far when off leash. Cindy is very gentle around kids – no jumping or pushing, just lots of kisses. There are a 2 and 4 year old in her foster home and she is fantastic with them. If they are too boisterous for her, she simply moves away. She is amazing in what she puts up with from them.
She is not a jumper and has made no attempt to escape her yard, and is also very quiet through the day. A well behaved girl, she hasn’t dug any holes or engaged in any destructive behaviour. Though she’d love another dog to play with, she is also content to amuse herself or doze off on her bed
Cindy will make a beautiful family member for just about anybody, so if you think you could give her a loving forever home, please apply today!
